Spirulina

Spirulina is a spiral-shaped microalga of deep blue-green color. It grows naturally in wild warm and freshwater lakes. It is also cultivated and harvested in reservoirs like Kona Coast of Hawaii.

Hawaiian Spirulina is an edible alga, also known as Spirulina Pacifica. It is cultivated in shallow and open ponds near the Pacific Ocean which has a mixture of seawater & fresh water.
